What We Do
kVA provides a variety of products and services including:
- Confirmation reviews, functional safety audits, and Gap Analysis for ISO 26262 compliance
- Training in the topic of functional safety and product developmenet, including off-site and customized on-site training
- Engineering software for implementation of ISO 26262 requirements in automotive product engineering processes. kVA is the U.S. distributor of the medini™ analyze software tool
- Systems engineering support including FMEA, FMEDA, Fault Tree Analysis, systems optimization, and other techniques for new product development
- Safety Standards compliance, including compliance to the emerging ISO 26262 standard for passenger vehicle functional safety. kVA also fills the role of safety manager or safety coordinator on a contract basis, for OEM or supplier compliance to ISO 26262 requirements
- Strategic consulting on transportation and energy technology, policy, and regulation, specifically related to emerging technology policy for plug-in hybrid and battery-electric vehicles
- Power electronic system design and integration, with a specific focus on emerging vehicles and clean energy systems.
